Hôtel familial, aquapark petit mais suffisant. Chambre avec lit superposé, comme demandé. Plage 8 minutes à pied. Demi-pension: pâtes et grillades, les enfants ont mangé. Pas besoin de plus.

Schiff war kleiner als gedacht, dafür ruhig. Anlegestellen in Cochem und Rüdesheim ohne Hetze. Essen an Bord in Ordnung, nicht Sternerestaurant. Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist, Transfer hat gehalten.

Drei Tage, ohne extra Stress

Zugfahrt und Hotel in Zermatt haben so geklappt, wie in der Bestätigung stand. Zimmer zum Bahnhof hin, morgens laut, das war uns klar. Ski und Abendessen selbst organisiert. Für ein kurzes Wochenende reicht das.

Zermatt sans voiture, tant mieux

Train depuis Genève, hôtel près de la gare. Chambre simple, chauffage fort, petit-déjeuner correct. On a skié deux jours, le troisième à pied au village. Pas de spa, on n'en voulait pas.

Maldive, poco da raccontare, ed è un pregio

Trasferimento in barca, pontile corto. Bungalow con doccia che perdeva un po', sistemata in giornata. Snorkel davanti casa. Buffet dopo una settimana lo conosci. Va bene così.

Zermatt without hiring a car

Train up, hotel by the station, skis stored downstairs. Room faced the street, fine after ten. Three nights is enough if you already know you are not doing the Matterhorn. Breakfast was bread and coffee, not a buffet show.

Da Lugano si fa. Hotel piccolo, colazione onesta, camera sul retro quindi silenziosa. Due giorni di sci, uno a camminare. Niente spa e nessuno ha finto che ci fosse.

Malediven, Hausriff vor der Tür. Transfer mit Boot pünktlich. Essen Buffet, nach drei Tagen kennt man es. Genau das: schwimmen, nichts organisieren. Kein Kinderclub, brauchten wir nicht.

Santorini, stairs, we packed backpacks

After reading other notes we left the suitcases at home. Room clean, no caldera view, that was in the listing. Hired a car one day, roads narrow. Ate in town. A week was enough heat.

Afternoons we had them, which was actually better. Pool shallow end busy. Room cleaned every other day, not daily, we had been told. Beach walkable. Half board kept costs predictable.

Appartamento a Lucerna, tre notti. Cucina vera, forno piccolo. Parcheggio incluso, raro. Il lago si vede se ti affacci. Per una famiglia va bene, non è un resort.

Juin, chance. Cabine étroite, douche fonctionnelle. Capitaine parlait un peu français, assez pour les horaires. Baignades depuis le bateau deux fois. On n'a pas pris l'option kayak, trop cher sur place.
