Lucerne flat, kitchen was the point
We cooked most nights. Two hobs, no dishwasher, four of us managed. Lake in twenty minutes on foot. Washing machine finished at odd hours so we did a load at lunch. Would stay again with the same caveats.

Hotel okay, Schlüssel zu spät
Mallorca, Familie mit zwei Kindern. Pool und Strand nah. Der Zimmerschlüssel kam erst gegen 17 Uhr, obwohl wir um 14 Uhr da waren. Die drei Sterne sind dafür. Das Hotel selbst war sauber, Frühstück laut.

Antalya, hotel grande, spiaggia organizzata
Luglio, caldo. All inclusive, cibo sempre uguale dal terzo giorno. Animazione lontana dalla nostra camera, per fortuna. Mare a pochi metri, lettini con prenotazione mattutina, classico. Per due settimane con i ragazzi ok.

Lo sapevamo e l'abbiamo sottovalutato con due trolley. Camera pulita, aria condizionata forte. Vista villaggio, non caldera. Noleggio auto una giornata, stretto. Cibo fuori, non in hotel.

Croisière bien, accueil à quai moins
Côte croate, bateau propre, repas copieux. À Split on a attendu sous le soleil parce que l'embarquement a glissé. Ensuite rien à dire. Trois étoiles pour l'attente, pas pour les îles.

We wanted to sit on deck, not rush churches. Cabin window opened. Second dinner sitting was quieter. Cochem stop long enough for a walk up, not the castle queue. Seven days felt right.
